Marshall Physiotherapy
Hi, I’m Andy. I am the clinical director of Marshall Physiotherapy. I completed my Physiotherapy training at Southampton University; prior to this I gained a Sport Rehabilitation degree at St Marys, London.
Since qualification I have completed post graduate training including; the treatment of running injuries with gait analysis, the management of spinal and shoulder pain, the study of Manual Therapy (completed in Western Australia), MSc credits in First Contact Physiotherapy and gained my Acupuncture qualification. I am currently completing my corticosteroid injection training.
I have published research through the Journal of Sport Rehabilitation and have a special interest in rehabilitation and the management of athletes competing in a range of sports.
I also work for the NHS as a First Contact Physiotherapist where I work closely alongside GP’s, Paramedics and Nurses.
I have worked in a variety of large teaching hospitals through the UK, in addition to a number of private clinics and sports teams, including: QPR FC, Portsmouth FC, Ealing Rugby Club and Poverty Bay Rugby (NZ).
I spent 3 years working in New Zealand where I treated a range of elite athletes and I have also worked in St Anton, Austria during a ski season.
Prior to moving to Devon, I was working in London’s West End providing rehabilitation to professional actors, dancers, musicians and associated theatre staff.
Outside Physiotherapy I enjoys playing and watching most sports and I am currently training for a triathlon. I have 2 young children and also love travelling.
Find me in The Malang Room.
